Former Santa Fe Desert Chorale singer Janet Andrew sent classical music critic Craig Smith this photo from a local grocery store in the Chicago area, where she now lives. It seems proper knowledge of chile — with an "e" — and of the village of Hatch, green chile's heart and center, hasn't arrived in the Midwest yet. Thanks Janet and Craig!
